Teacher Zeynep Unal settles discrimination suit against LAPS

Zeynep Unal has settled her 2013 discrimination lawsuit against Los Alamos County Public Schools and Aspen Elementary principal Kathryn Vandenkieboom. Unal’s attorney Kate Ferlic told The Los Alamos Monitor, “All I can say, in pursuant to the agreement, is that the case has settled, and we are thrilled. It was a good result, a good settlement, and I think both parties can move on with educating children.”
