“The facts do not as a matter of law come within the definition of money laundering,” lawyer Todd Coberly stated in court Monday, arguing the state has completely changed its theory of the case.
Coberly and Angela Adame’s attorney, John Day, filed motions to dismiss the charges of money laundering, stating lack of evidence tying their clients to drug activity.
