Former Facilities Director Steve Kennebeck sues town of Taos

In September, Santa Fe attorney Jamison Barkley filed a lawsuit on behalf of her client, fired former Facilities Director Steve Kennebeck against the town of Taos alleging he was fired out of retaliation. The claim states the New Mexico Whistleblower Protection Act was violated when town manager Rick Bellis fired Kennebeck after he stated Bellis “had or currently [has] a romantic relationship” with a former Taos contractor.
