Egolf representing Susan Popovich’s estate in the wrongful death lawsuit
Brian Egolf is representing Susan Popovich’s estate in a wrongful death lawsuit against Monarch Stone Company, truck driver Rudy Maestas and his company DRM Trucking. Popovich was tragically killed in an automobile accident in August 2017 when Maestes ran a red light on 285 near Eldorado and crashed his semi into Popovich’s silver Mazda.

The lawsuit claims Monarch Stone Company should have done due diligence on Maestas’s driving record, in stating “Defendant Maestas’s driving record shows that since 2010, he has received at least three speeding tickets, a citation for failure to maintain a single lane/making erratic lane changes, and several citations for operating his tractor-trailer without equipment required by law.”
